US Masters final round: can McIlroy hold off deChambeau

An astonishing and unprecedented opening sequence of 3-3-3-3-3-3 on the first six holes propelled Rory McIlroy to a two shot lead over Bryson deChambeau ahead of Sunday's final round in the US Masters at Augusta.

Saturday's early leader Justin Rose faded while McIlroy turned on the power from the first tee; unleashing a 371 yard drive to audible gasps from the assembled patrons.

McIlroy has 18 holes to place himself in the pantheon of golf's greats if he wins today and becomes the sixth player to complete a career grand-slam.

Coverage starts at 1400BST on Sky Sports and the final pairing of McIlroy and deChambeau tee off at 1930BST. The winner receives $3.6m (£2.8m), a gold medal and a coveted green jacket.
