The new Mavrik Drivers offer performance that defies convention with the all new Flash Face SS20. That feeling you get when you make a good swing and crush one off the tee - Flash Face SS20 makes the ball go faster and farther
New Flash Face SS20 is designed for exceptional ball speed and unconventional forgiveness. New artificial intelligence architecture and face design optimize COR for high ball speeds while increasing consistency downrange. Through Machine Learning, Callaway computers cycled through thousands of face iterations, learning from the original Flash Face, before arriving at Flash Face SS20. The result; consistent faster ball speed in the centre region of the face for every driver produced
The Face also features new proprietary high strength FS2S titanium for fast, consistent ball speed. New FS2S titanium is stronger and more flexible than traditional materials, allowing for consistently high ball speeds all across the face. Couple that with Jailbreak Technology, the internal Jailbreak bars stiffen and stabilize the crown and sole, placing more impact load on the face. This drastically reduces the flex on the face to double the impact load for more energy and ball speeds across the face
The Mavrik Driver has the new Cyclone Aero design that is engineered with a taller ribbon and flatter crown in a 460cc head, for lower drag and increased club head speed. For forgiveness, a new lighter triaxial carbon fabric crown called T2C has a tighter weave; the weight it saves is redistributed within the head to raise MOI for exceptional forgiveness on off-centre hits
